Living Learning Communities

The living learning communities at Kean University bring together students and faculty with common interest and ambitions.  Together the members create a community that enhances the college experience, expose the members to new ideas, and help prepare the students for life after college.

STEM Living Learning Community

This living learning community is for students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Computer Science.  By living in this community, students will begin to explore the different jobs associated with the major and connect with professionals from the field.  

Benefits of living in this community are:

  • Networking opportunities with professionals in the field
  • Resident Assistant programs tailored to your interests

Women Empowered by Living and Learning (W.E.L.L.) Community 

This living learning community is for female leaders interested in networking with other female professionals in leadership roles.  The students within this community have a commitment to healthy living, personal growth, and empowerment.

Benefits of living in this community are:

  • Learning about and getting involved with various on campus events and organizations.
  • Networking opportunities with female professionals in diverse fields
  • Healthy living programs (exercise, nutrition, etc.)
  • Leadership skills and experience that will help in your future career

Leadership Living Learning Community

This living learning community is for students passionate about helping others and getting involved in their community.  By living in this community, students will develop their leadership skills.

  • Networking opportunities with professionals in diverse fields
