Advice for Students Preparing for Your Class: "Metal is an adaptable, versatile, and rewarding medium to work with, but is a craft that requires patience and time. For those looking for an elective, the basic class has no prerequisite and you need not be an art major to take it. For art majors, you will find the skills, craftsmanship, and problem solving you will learn in metals to be useful across media."
