A native of China, Dr. Yuan worked in the advertising industry before moving to the U.S. to pursue her graduate studies. Dr. Yuan's research interests include international business communication, conflict management, cross-cultural adaptation, and Internet democracy in China. She has published in a number of journals, and presented at numerous international and national conferences.
