Professor Singalewitch was a nominee for the VSA Teacher of the Year in 2011, and the winner of the Outstanding Research Award, Research Day Exhibition at Kean University in March 2009. She is a frequent presenter at conferences held by the Arts Educators of New Jersey and at other conferences and seminars.
