What is STEMpact?
STEMpact is a United States Department of Education Title V Federally Funded Partnership Program between Kean University and Union County College.
The primary goal of STEMpact is to increase the retention and graduation of Hispanic and low-income students in STEM and teacher education programs. It is a partnership between Kean University and Union County College. The two institutions implement innovative pedagogies by promoting hands-on inquiry-based discovery, providing students with structured academic and career pathways, and creating a sense of community among successful STEM and teacher education students to improve their academic success at the partner institutions and throughout the community.
