The Michael Graves College is predicated on taking design and architecture to a wider public audience. It is composed of two schools, the Robert Busch School of Design and the School of Public Architecture.

Leadership
The Michael Graves College at Kean University carries the name and endorsement of a man who was one of the world’s premiere architects and designers—Michael Graves. Graves is credited with broadening the role of the architect and designer in society and raising public interest in good design as essential to the quality of everyday life. We are proud to carry on his great legacy.
David Mohney, Dean
David Mohney, FAIA, previously worked as the Dean of the College of Design at the University of Kentucky and taught at the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in New York City, the Graduate School of Design at Harvard, and the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles. A practicing architect, he was educated at Harvard University and Princeton’s School of Architecture. David serves on both the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Board of Directors, and the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture Board of Governors.
Rose Gonnella, Associate Dean
Rose Gonnella is the Associate Dean of the Michael Graves College at Kean University and Wenzhou-Kean University, China. Rose has taught graphic design for over 25 years, including courses in design theory, materials and techniques, as well as guiding the web design curriculum at its inception. As co-author, Rose has contributed research and writing to several books and has written numerous magazine and newspaper articles on creativity, art, architecture, and design.
