Dr. Ramanathan was named Kean’s Faculty Research Mentor of the Year in 2012, and serves as Advisor for Kean’s Biotechnology Club. Her research involves utilization of advanced analytical techniques (mass spectrometry) to detect pharmaceuticals present at trace levels at the watershed scale and in tissues of lake/river marine life.
