Kean University holds the user responsible for utilizing computer, equipment, software and resources in an appropriate manner. This computing facility is to be used for University-related business and activities. Users of the computing and networking resources are responsible for conducting activities in a manner that is ethical, efficient, and legal. Additionally, conduct must not interfere with the rights and safety of others and must conform to any licensing agreement provisions. Users are subject to all federal, state and local laws as well as the Campus Code of Conduct* and all policies governing the use of computer facilities at Kean University*. Any utilization of equipment or software for commercial or illegal material, or plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
It is the University’s hope that users will be conscious of the rights and sensitivities of others in the creation, display, and transmission of information.
