Students must reapply for financial aid each school year by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Aid is not automatically renewable.
Federal Regulations Impacting Students Admitted Under the Ability to Benefit (ATB) Test
Students enrolling at Kean as of July 1, 2012 without a valid high school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or certificate of Home Schooling are INELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE TITLE IV FUNDING. Such students will need to make alternative payment arrangements using private education loans and/or the Tuition Management Service (TMS) at www.afford.com or or by calling 1-800-722-4867.
The ATB provisions apply only to students who enrolled in their first eligible program of study on or after July 1, 2012. Those enrolled before this date are excluded from the provisions of this regulation.
