This section is for Kean students who are interested in taking classes at our partner Universities across the globe.

Our Study Abroad program allows students to continue their studies while living overseas for a full academic year, or a single semester. In doing so, students may grow intellectually, develop inter-cultural skills, and obtain foreign language skills. All courses taken in the overseas programs apply to degree requirement, and most of all majors. Financial aid can be used towards program costs. Program eligibility requires students to posses a 2.8 GPA, and be at least a sophomore (grade-level requirement vary amongst programs).

ELIGIBILITY
To study abroad, you must meet the minimum GPA requirement in the semester prior to your intended stay abroad. In general, students must have a 2.8 cumulative GPA at the time of the program application deadline. You must also be of at least sophomore standing to participate in the study abroad experience. However, check with individual programs for any other requirements.

FINANCIAL AID
Most students need some form of financial aid to study abroad. Your campus Financial Aid Office will consider you as eligible when you study abroad through any of the programs offered by Kean University. Your study abroad coordinator will cooperate with you and with the office of Financial Aid in determining your study abroad budget.
