Dr. Avioli has a long history at Kean University, serving as a Professor for 30 years. Her writing has been published in Generations, International Journal of Aging and Human Development, Handbook of Families and Aging, Handbook of Emotion and Adult Development and Aging, Sex Roles, American Behavioral Scientist, Journal of Marriage and Family. Dr. Avioli also serves as a Reviewer for Sage Open, International Sociology, Sex Roles, Contemporary Gerontology, Brooks-Cole and Wadsworth Publishing Company.
