Welcome to the School of Computer Science

At Kean, we offer a B.S. in Computer Science (accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET) and a B.S. in Information Technology. Our 5-year B.S/M.S. program, which includes the B.S. Computer Science degree, leading to our M.S. Computer Information Systems graduate program.

With an emphasis on undergraduate research experience and industry internships, we offer small class sizes and an ideal faculty-student ratio for focused education.

Admission Requirements 

The School of Computer Science has formally adopted the following standards for admission to all options of the Computer Science major:

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at the time of admission to the major.
• Completion of at least 12 credits of CPS courses at Kean, each with a grade of “C”.
