Economics is the social science that studies finance activity to gain a better understanding of how production, distribution and consumption of goods and services can be exchanged in an economy. The School of Social Sciences offers a degree options in Economics:

• B.A. in Economics
• B.A. in Economics/Teacher Certification

Students interested in economics will be introduced to the basic structure, process institutions and theories in this field of study. Kean University offers to train with analytical tools along with courses that will prepare our students for graduate work in economics, as well as corporate and public sectors of employment.
