Welcome to the Kean University Office of Student Accounting home page. It is very important to us that each student has a clear understanding when it comes to financing their education. This site is designed to provide you with information about the financial aspects of attending Kean, such as tuition and fees, policies and procedures, and various methods of payment. We have anticipated questions and concerns in an effort to minimize any confusion and to make this process as smooth and simple as possible.

Students are billed for tuition, fees, meal plans, and housing. We also collect all tuition payments, provide students information on various payment options, apply all loans and financial aid to the student’s accounts and issue refund checks to students and parents in accordance with State, Federal and Institutional regulations.

Our Mission
The Office of Student Accounting at Kean University is dedicated to effectively, efficiently and expeditiously provide students, alumni and their families with accurate financial information and guidance with respect to their financial obligations while complying with all policies and guidelines set forth by Kean University and all associated governing bodies. We also aim to provide innovative and comprehensive solutions that allow students convenience and access to technological resources that avail self-service options. Our focus is to keep students at the forefront of our decision making with an emphasis on integrity, courtesy and compassion. The Office of Student Accounting continuously strives for excellence in customer service and adheres to the University mission by engaging in one-on-one financial counseling with students to ensure that they are well advised while navigating campus life.

Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Consultation Area Hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
