Kean University is pleased to provide applicants the opportunity to complete the entire admissions process in just one day! Instant Decision Days at Kean offer a “fast track” admissions process, where you submit your application, meet one-on-one with administrators and current students, and receive an admission decision all on the same day. Your personal admissions counselor will also share valuable information about academic programs and student life, and waive the $75 application fee (excluding application via The Common Application). Moreover, you might even be offered a scholarship if deemed eligible!
Please note that STEM and performing arts majors are excluded from receiving an instant decision due to program evaluation.

During the summer, daily appointments are available for freshman applicants seeking to fast-track the application and admission process into a single day. Students meet one-on-one with their Admissions Counselor to complete their freshman application, submit their official hard-copy high school transcript, and copies of their SAT/ACT score reports. Students who visit Kean for Instant Decision Day receive a $75 application fee waiver.
Please note that prospective students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and a 1080 SAT/21 ACT to qualify for an accelerated decision.

Students meet one-on-one with their Admissions Counselor to complete their transfer application, submit their official hard-copy/electronic transcript, and fulfill supplemental application requirements. Students who visit Kean for Instant Decision Day receive a $75 application fee waiver.
