IMPORTANT: Your GE requirements depend on when you entered Kean and the effective date of the major guide sheet you are following.
- Students entering Kean as freshmen in Fall 2009 must follow the new guide sheets (marked Effective Date: Fall 2009).

- Students entering Kean as transfers in Fall 2009 were evaluated using the old guide sheets but can choose to follow the new guide sheets (marked Effective Date: Fall 2009).
- Students who entered Kean in Spring 2009 and earlier will generally follow the guide sheets in effect when they entered Kean but can choose to follow the new guide sheets (marked Effective Date: Fall 2009) if it is to their benefit.
